Itinerary

 

Day 1: Q.A.I Airport – Amman

Drive: 45 minutes

Arrive at Queen Alia Int'l airport. VIP Meet & Greet at jet-way bridge. Escort to Fast Track  Immigration with porter service. Drop off to hotel/residence in Amman in a limo car.

Overnight in Amman

 

Day 2: Jerash (2-hours visit) – Umm Qais (2-hour visit)  

Drive: 10 minutes from hotel to helipad

Fly: 15 minutes from Amman to Jerash

Fly: 20 minutes  from Jerash to Umm Qais

Fly: 30 minutes from Umm Qais to Amman

Drive: 10 minutes from helipad to hotel 

After breakfast, we will pick you up from our helipad in Khalda and fly over the University of Jordan to enjoy the northern parts of Amman including the Applied Science Private University in Shafa Badran Area and Sahara Mall in Abu Nusseir Area. Drifting over the Balqa’a Terrains you will get the chance to pamper your sight with the green sceneries of Wasfi Al Tal Forest. Moving on to more soothing nature sceneries we’ll be taking you over Tal Al Rumman Area and King Talal Dam with a capacity of 86 million cubic meters, and of course over Jordan’s largest and most interesting Roman site, and the major tourist drawcard, the ruined city of Jerash, where we will finally land. After you enjoy its imposing ceremonial gates, colonnaded avenues, temples and theatres that speak to the time when this was an important imperial center.

 

Our captain will pick you up and fly you over the towns of the City of Irbid, such as At-Taibah, Samma and Kufr Asad. You also get to oversee the Wadi Al Arab Wellfield to finally reach Umm Qais where we will be landing. Site of the famous miracle of the Gadarene swine, Umm Qais (Gadara) was renowned in its time as a cultural center. It was the home of several classical poets and philosophers, including Theodorus, founder of a rhetorical school in Rome, and was once called “a new Athens” by a poet. It boasts an impressive colonnaded street, a vaulted terrace, and the ruins of two theatres. You can take in the sights and then dine on the terrace of Romero Restaurant (optional) with a breathtaking view perched on a splendid hilltop overlooking the Jordan Valley and the Sea of Galilee as well as the Syrian, Palestinian and Lebanese borders! While you indulge your senses in the sceneries and delicious food, we will be preparing for your trip back to Amman.

Day 3: Petra (3-hour visit) (By Club Car)

Drive: 10 minutes from hotel to helipad

Fly: 60 minutes from Amman to Petra

Fly: 60 minutes  from Petra to Amman 

Drive: 10 minutes from helipad to hotel 

After breakfast, we will not only allow you to see one of the world’s renowned 7 wonders, but also to explore our beloved country’s beauty, starting from our helipad in Khalda, Amman and through the following landmarks and areas:

Bahhath Area - Qasr Al-Abd (Castle of the Slave). Marj al Hamam, Mahes, Fuheis and Na’our Areas. Madaba (City of Mosaics). Wala Dam. The Ancient City of Dhiban. Wadi Mujib and Mujib Dam. Al-Karak. Wadi al-Hasa. Tafilah. Dana Biosphere Reserve. Montréal (castle), also known as Al Shobak Castle. Wadi Musa

 

We arrive to Petra and allow you to travel through not only place, but time as well, while you dive deep in the red rose city. The club car will take you from the visitors center till the Treasury. You will enjoy the visit there and after that, you will take the club car from the Treasury to the visitors center. Don’t worry if you missed any of the amazing monuments of this route, as we will take you back through the same areas on your way back to Amman.

Day 4: Aqaba  

Drive: 10 minutes from hotel to helipad

Fly: 100 minutes from Amman to Aqaba 

After breakfast, depart from our helipad in Khalda, we will be covering all two thirds of Jordan, and you will get to indulge yourself with the following landmarks and areas:

Bahhath Area - Qasr Al-Abd (Castle of the Slave). Marj al Hamam, Mahes, Fuheis and Na’our Areas. Madaba (City of Mosaics). Wala Dam. The Ancient City of Dhiban. Wadi Mujib and Mujib Dam. Al-Karak. Wadi al-Hasa.Tafilah. Dana Biosphere Reserve. Montréal (castle), also known as Al Shobak Castle. Wadi Musa. Ras al Naqab on the Hejaz Railway. Wadi Rum.

 

After 100 minutes of flying over those amazing monuments, we finally arrive to Aqaba to either check in your hotel or enjoy optional activities like snorkeling, parasailing, glass bottom boat trip…etc.

Day 5: Aqaba - Wadi Rum – Jeep Tour – Amman   

Drive: 60 minutes from hotel to Wadi Rum

Fly: 90 minutes from Amman to Aqaba 

After breakfast, enjoy your free morning in the hotel.

Then, drive to Wadi Rum; one of the world’s most colorful and unique landscapes of desert and mountain scenery. Tour through Wadi Rum colored sands by Bedouin four-wheel drive vehicles for two hours.

Then, drive to the helipad to fly to Amman.

Day 6: Amman City Tour (2-hour visit) – Dead Sea     

Drive: 2 hours for Amman City Tour / Continue to helipad

Fly: 20 minutes from Amman to Dead Sea  

After breakfast, tour the city of Amman starting with the downtown area, the oldest part of Amman, which is crowned by the Citadel, which offers a panoramic view of the whole city. Here one can also see the ancient ruins of the Temple of Hercules that dates back to (AD 161 – 180), the Byzantine Church, and the fascinating Archaeological Museum which houses an excellent collection of the antiquities of Jordan. At the foot of the Citadel is the 2nd century AD Roman Theater, still used today for cultural events.

 

Departing from our helipad in Khalda, we will move covering the Bahhath Area in the valley of Wadi Sir, south-west of Amman, which is home to Qasr Al-Abd (Castle of the Slave). Other nearby ruins include a village, an isolated house and a fountain, all of which are barely visible today due to the damage brought by a major earthquake. Qasr Al-Abd is believed to have been built by Hyrcanus of Jerusalem, who was the head of the powerful Tobiad family.

 

Then we proceed to Marj al Hamam, Mahes and Fuheis Areas. Flying over Al Adaseyya Highway ending with the Kaferin Dam which is a few kilometers north of the Dead Sea, it drains from the eastern highlands near Wadi Sir, Amman and Hisban westward to the Jordan Valley and to the Jordan River. You will get to see the west of Madaba (City of Mosaics). Approaching the Dead Sea, we fly over Ma’in, where the hot springs are located, those springs are heated by hot water that comes from the top of the basaltic mountain and are dotted with waterfalls, painting a panoramic picture of nature and the depth of religious and historical heritage. And just before we drop you off to the Hotels Area at the Dead Sea, you will satisfy your senses with a breathtaking view over the Dead Sea shoreline, a lake between the West Bank and Jordan. 418 meters (1,371 feet) below sea level making it the lowest point on the surface of the Earth. The Dead Sea is almost nine times as salty as the ocean.

Day 7: Dead Sea – Q.A.I airport for departure

(Drive: 60 minutes)

 After breakfast, transfer to Queen Alia Int'l airport for departure. VIP Meet & Greet: upon arrival at the airport, porter service: to check-in counter Fast-track: through Immigration and Security Access to Crown Lounge Escort to Duty Free Buggy car transfer to the Boarding Gate.
